With the recent removal of the COVID-19 vaccination mandates, we’ve made available a video and slide deck of our recent Health and Safety webinar for school leaders.
Co-presented with NZEI and PPTA, the webinar was attended by more than 500 leaders and provided useful advice on updating their school’s health and safety policies in-line with the new requirements. The main discussion points included:
- what steps school boards now need to undertake due to the removal of the vaccination mandate
- the health and safety decision-making process, including identifying risks and risk mitigation
- possible scenarios within schools with unvaccinated workers
- resources available to support schools and kura with this process.
We’ve also pulled together some links to further resources and key contacts to support school leaders with health and safety planning – see below.
