NZSTA has a number of experienced governance and employment advisers in place at a national and local level working alongside schools in assisting them with their queries.

What we offer

Boards of trustees can access advisers on the NZSTA Advisory and Support Centre for all matters relating to governance and employment.

If you're on a board, you have access to a team of advisers who can assess your issue and provide you with the appropriate advice. Should your matter require more attention it can be escalated to our in-house governance and employment team.  If you require face-to-face contact or the matter is particularly sensitive or complex, one of our Regional Advisers will meet with you and provide you with the support you need.

Our Regional Advisers are all experienced governance and employment practitioners with extensive experience in dealing with governance and employment relations and human resource issues. They are grouped in ‘hubs’ and ‘sub-hubs’ located in Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Porirua, Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin and work closely together to ensure a case management type approach to your issues.
